What happened to April?

I can't believe April is almost over and I feel like I have done nothing. I haven't purchased my tickets for New York yet, called to get the carpet on the stairs cleaned, completed any craft projects, and I haven't read any poetry (it is poetry month).

So to make up for my lack of accomplishments this month, I've decided to post this picture of my "Poetree" tree. It's on top of my computer at work. I originally made the tree without the cute little Easter ornaments, but then my co-worker Elizabeth organized a staff Easter Egg Hunt (so much fun) and the cute little ornaments were in some of the eggs. We then decided to add them to the tree to show them off and to make us smile. Hopefully May will be more productive!

Weekend Review

Saturday was so nice.  My daughter was out with her friends all day and my husband actually worked and studied for his test.  This meant that I had a Saturday morning and afternoon all to myself, it was a little piece of heaven.  First I did some shopping and bought a cute pair of shoes, then I felt like being crafty so I planned a project and went to the store only to find out that they didn't have what I needed--so disappointing, I then called my daughter to see if she was going to be at home with her friends and she said no, I was so excited because now I could buy some snacks, rent a movie, and watch it all by myself--no interruptions.  Later my husband and I went to go look at homes and then went on a date.  Life doesn't get any better than this!

Today (Sunday) has been a great day as well.  It was kind of weird in the Sunday school class we teach because the kids were all focused!  Two of the girls were emotional and were glued to my side until snack...they are so cute.  I was a little upset because one of my friends asked me if I got her text on Friday and I told her no.  She was texting me to see if i wanted to go jet skiing with her!  I was so sad.  I've been saying that I need to get a new phone and now, for reasons like this I've gotta do it.  It is so beautiful today, perfect weather so I went for a long walk.  I hope everyone had as great of a weekend as me!

A t-shirt that says it all!

Saturday afternoon I received the t-shirt I ordered from this place.  Love it, can't wait to wear it, and now my husband has given me justification for my purchase...I watched this movie !
Actually, I didn't even plan to watch the movie anytime soon, but on Monday Kyung came home excited to share the movie he rented just for me.  So needless to say I watched it and was utterly shocked and very disappointed.  Words cannot express how I feel right now!  All I know is that tomorrow I will be rocking my new t-shirt which clearly expresses my thought on good books that are made into not so good movies.

Date Night

Friday night my husband and I finally went on a date!!! First we went to dinner at his favorite Japanese restaurant. The food was good and the service was great. Next we decided to go to a movie and chose to see Paul Blart Mall Cop. I wasn't sure if I would like it, but I was willing to suffer through for the sake of spending time with my husband. To my surprise, I loved it. The movie had just stupid funny scenes...I laughed and laughed. It was a great date night. Hopefully I can find my camera cord and can post some pictures from the baby shower I helped out with this weekend.

It has been way too long!

Wow, it has been a long time since I've posted anything here. So much has changed. The biggest change is that unfortunately we had to close our bookstore. We closed at the end of December and although it was hard, I know it was the best thing. Another major change is that my daughter moved back in! I also got a new job. I'm doing decorations for a baby shower this weekend and can't wait to see it all come to life. All of this is just the beginning of my madness. There is so much more, but I've got to run. So much to do and so little time. I'll try to be better about my blogging this year.
